What happens in a family with social and economical troubles when an autistic child is born?“Angela!” tells, inspired to a nowadays chronicle, the story of a mother, Serafina, who decides to kill her autistic daughter and herself because she cannot tolerate the weight of loneliness caused by the illness of the daughter and by the consequent abandon from her husband.

discomfort, to be willing of going out, to come back to life. "

EMOTIONAL JOURNEY THROUGH THE CRUCIBLE OF MEMORY.
FOR A SINGLE VIEWER AT A TIME.
TRADIZIONE È TRADIMENTO? This is the title of a living theatre project for one single viewer at a time, which is both a performance and an art installation. An experiment of dynamic evocative and experiential museography.
TRADIZIONE È TRADIMENTO? recreates stories/worlds that, reworked in a poetic way, tell of "man in the presence of other men" and "life within the memory". The viewer/visitor is submitted to a multisensory shock where memories, information, enjoyment, evocation, emotion are all mixed together and aim to "transform through experience." The length of the journey for the single viewer is 7 minutes.
TRADIZIONE È TRADIMENTO? features the stories of three generations being compared (grandmother, daughter, granddaughter): stories of women, of mourning, moments of joy, of misunderstanding, of violent cultural and generational clashes, memories, desires, broken voices, moments of celebration of what it was.

TRADIZIONE È TRADIMENTO? arises from an idea by BottegaLab, a collective of multidisciplinary artistic creation founded by Nunzio Gringeri (photographer, video maker, sculptor, painter) and Monica Cavatoi, who comes from the theatrical and performative background, as well as anthropology and experiential museology.
BottegaLab wonders about and leads the viewer to think (in a physical and sensorial way) about the past, about the "tradition", the identity, memory and transmission of emotion, with a curious glance at the man and his social and performative being. BottegaLab prefers not institutionalized theaters, but operates also and especially within other territories, bringing a chance of "shared theatrical experience" directly to "citizens" (streets, squares, museums, places of culture, social circles), which, within the performance space, become at the same time authors and users of the art project.
